A Fabulous May Day

Hello Lovelies!

I’ve been MIA for a while, its hard for me to keep up on the regular with this blog, so don’t expect a massive amounts of posts all of a sudden! 😉

I woke up this morning to a lovely rain shower. I sleep with my window open and to hear the rain on the tin roof is quite possibly my favorite sound in the world. It makes me want to curl up in bed all day and read Jane Austen, with old french music playing in the background and a cup of tea……

Wait, where was I, oh ya back to reality, work.

I was excited because I get to bring out the rain boots one more time before summertime sets in and they have to be put away for the season.

I also saw Blake Lively’s hair at the MET Gala and was inspired with a old school hairdo this morning. Its kind of my favorite fall back hairstyle when my hair isnt cooperating!

Speaking of hair I’ve been on a crazy braid kick, thanks to Missysue.com
She did 20 braid for the month of April and I tried my had at a few of them.
Braids are a great way for me to keep my hair off my face and neck during the summertime. I love a good crown braid!

Here’s some that I tried

This one is called the triple french braid double waterfall braid

This one is from a different gal and its called the loose side french braid

Side-swept waterfall braid(still mastering the art of the waterfall braid)

And last we have the double dutch braid bun!

And last but not least, I just hit the 150 days of happiness with this handsome fella right here!

So blessed to have found a perfect match to me in every way! Cant wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for us two!
